Me and Jonah spent Friday night trimming the books at Nathan's dad's print shop, as well as signing and numbering the 100 completed copies. We used a paper cutter that was more than 100 years old. I think this was fitting for our project, which is in part, about the juxtaposition of pasts and presents.

On Saturday, we drove down to Saskatoon, and met the JackPine collective as well as some of the other creators for dinner. We then went down to the venue and hung out until it was our turn to read. The room was packed and it felt really great to share our work. Before I read my last poem, I mentally told myself to savour the moment.
I'm hoping to do a Regina launch in the spring... In the mean time, I will savour this feeling! I'll post when the book is available online :)

We'll be teaching your work one day!
